My Bahia Principe

My Bahia Principe (hereinafter, “the Programme”) is a loyalty programme owned by MANAGEMENT HOTELERO PIÑERO S.L.(MHP), with Tax ID number (CIF) B57211732, (the company responsible for managing the brands and loyalty programmes of Grupo Piñero) with address at Plaza Mediterráneo nº5 Ed. Neptuno 07014 - Palma de Mallorca

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

With the expressed acceptance or, when applicable, acceptance without the need for a conventional signature of the aforementioned conditions (prior effective knowledge of its existence and content), the Member acknowledges said content and pertains subject to it for as long as his or her status as Member of the Program remains in force.

In order to benefit from exclusive advantages, the Member of the account must be the one to make the hotel reservation by previously logging into My Bahia Principe in order to be identified as the Member, or identifying himself/herself as the Member with his Membership details when making the reservation via the Call Center of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts. It is imperative that the person identifies himself/herself as Member of the program in order to obtain exclusive benefits.

The guest and Member of the reservation is the sole person permitted to benefit from the exclusive advantages of the program during their corresponding stay (exempting specific benefits/services) and is the person who will receive all correspondence.
 

2. OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAMME

My Bahia Principe rewards private and individual customers who make their hotel bookings with exclusive benefits through our direct channels: www.bahia-principe.com or through the Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts Call Centre, and also through any other channel as long as the booking is for stays in one of the Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts. Bookings not covered by the programme are listed below.

3. AWARD-WINNING BOOKINGS IN THE PROGRAM

My Bahia Principe is a points-based programme, which rewards its members with special benefits on their next hotel or holiday bookings or benefits during their stay, as long as the booking is for stays at Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts. These points will be assigned to their accounts once the check-out has been completed and the stay has been paid for. Only room bookings made by the member who holds the account at My Bahia Principe and for rooms in which they are staying themselves will be taken into account.

Reservations with the following typologies will not be taken into account to accumulate points in the program, however, they will have the benefits, treatment and attention according to the level of the client with the highest loyalty of the reservation.

Bookings made from 1/01/2016 are valid 

The following are excluded from the allocation of points: Bookings made with special rates for travel agents, groups, crews, employees, press or gratuities. 

It is essential for members booking rooms to be logged in at My Bahia Principe or to provide their membership data when calling the Call Centre, to ensure they are identified as programme members, so the points associated with the booking can be correctly added to their account and count towards their level.

In the case that the bookings are made through third-party channels, the customer will need to check in online through the website www.bahia-principe.com at least five days before their arrival so that they can enjoy the membership benefits during their stay.

4. LEVELS

BLUE LEVEL: Customers registered at My Bahia Principe will belong to this level without any associated points, or with up to 1,999 points. BLUE benefits will be applied to the first booking made, provided that the customer has registered in the programme before making the booking and that they make it by identifying themselves as a member of the programme, or by checking in online through www.bahia-principe.com before their arrival at the hotel.

SILVER LEVEL: Customers registered at My Bahia Principe will belong to this level with a balance of 2,000 to 5,999 points. SILVER benefits will be applied to the next booking made, provided that the customer has registered in the programme before making the booking and that they make it by identifying themselves as a member of the programme, or by checking in online through www.bahia-principe.com before their arrival at the hotel.

GOLD LEVEL: Customers registered at My Bahia Principe will belong to this level with a balance of 6,000 to 9,999 points. GOLD benefits will be applied to the next booking made, provided that the customer has registered in the programme before making the booking and that they make it by identifying themselves as a member of the programme, or by checking in online through www.bahia-principe.com before their arrival at the hotel.

BLACK LEVEL: Customers registered at My Bahia Principe will belong to this level with a balance of more than 10,000 points. BLACK benefits will be applied to the next booking made, provided that the customer has registered in the programme before making the booking and that they make it by identifying themselves as a member of the programme, or by checking in online through www.bahia-principe.com before their arrival at the hotel.

5. POINT SYSTEM

Points are earned for each of the nights that make up a booking. The more nights the customer spends with us, the more points they will get and the faster they will level up.

The points vary according to the hotel brand and the level the customer already has.

In addition, for direct bookings, i.e. those made via www.bahia-principe.com or the Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts Call Centre, 50 extra points will be added per night.

** All the benefits exclusively apply for bookings made at www.bahia-principe.com and the Call Center. Make sure you mention that you’re a My Bahia Principe member.

BLUE LEVEL

  • 5% discount on your next hotel reservation via www.bahia-principe.com or by contacting the Call Center of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts.
     
  • Online check-in: You may do this between 5 days-1 day before arriving at the hotel. The customer will receive an email when online check-in is available. They may do this from the My Bahia Principe area.
     
  • Priority Check In for our preferred guests, who will enjoy their own special queue indicated by the “My Bahia Principe” signpost, where they will be able to check in. This is where they will receive their wristband indicating their special access so that they can enjoy unique advantages throughout their stay. Guests can only queue here if they have booked their stay as a My Bahia Principe member.

     
  • Choice of room location. You may do this between 5 days-1 day before arriving at the hotel, provided that you have already checked in online. This can be done from the My Bahia Principe area and will be subject to availability.

    * Exception: reservations at Mallorca hotels ( Bahia Principe Sunlight Coral Playa, Piñero Bahia de Palma Hotel, Piñero Tal Hotel) do not have the option of pre-selecting a room online. Once at the hotel the option of room location may be offered, subject to availability.
     
  • Restaurant booking in advance. You may make restaurant booking in advance between 5 days and 1 day before arriving at the hotel, provided that you have already checked in on-line. This can be done from the My Bahia Principe area and will be subject to availability.
     
  • 5% discount to use in Bahia Principe Shops. Not applicable on tobacco, press, Wi- Fi or sale items. Not to be used in conjunction with other discounts.

  • 5% discount on Wine in the restaurants of our hotels.

  • 5% discount to be used on Bahia Principe Tours, exclusively available via www.bahia- principe.com or by contacting the Call Center of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts. (Not to be used in conjunction with any other Bahia Tours discount) To enjoy this benefit, the customer must book the excursion before their stay, via My Bahia Principe, up to 5 days before checking in. If you want to book additional excursions, you can do it from the hotel with a 5% discount.

  • Free Premium Wi-Fi (24hours/day, for 7 consecutive days) limited to one device. The code to access the Wifi service during the stay, will be sent by email 3 days before check in, along with the user instructions.

    At Bahia Principe Fantasia Tenerife, Bahia Principe Grand Cayacoa and Bahia Principe Grand El Portillo, the customer will access the Free Premium WiFi through the WiFi connection at the hotel by entering their email address.
     
  • SPA discount: 15% discount. (Not to be used in conjunction with any other Spa discount).

    In Bahia Principe Luxury, Bahia Principe Grand Aquamarine and Bahia Principe Fantasia Punta Cana hotels, there are unlimited extra dinners.

    * Exception: Bahia Principe Sunlight San Felipe includes 3 extra dinners.

  • 1 night free on the next hotel reservation made on www.bahia-principe.com or when contacting the call center of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts. Only applicable on hotel reservations of 7 nights. The free night will be deducted from the total amount of the reservation; thus the customer will pay for one night less of their stay, and the points will be equivalent to the number of nights paid for by the customer.
     
  • Free hydrotherapy circuit in those hotels that offers this service.

7. CANCELLATION OF PROGRAM MEMBERSHIP

The Member of the program can cancel their Membership at any time in writing using the support email mybahiaprincipe@bahia-principe.com or contacting the Call Center of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts.

This voluntary cancellation implies that the customer will lose all their benefits automatically, their account will be deactivated and they will lose their status as a Member.

Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to temporarily suspend or definitively cancel the Membership of any Member of My Bahia Principe for not complying with the Terms & Conditions stated in this document, irregularity in payment or inappropriate behavior at the hotel

Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to definitively cancel accounts that remain inactive for a period of more than 36 months, if deemed appropriate, losing all benefits accumulated in the program, effective immediately.

8. MODIFICATIONS

Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to partially or completely cancel or modify these General Conditions. The Member will retain access to the updated General Conditions on the My Bahia Principe website.

In no case is BAHIA PRINCIPE & RESORTS responsible for losses, damages and harm that this cancellation may cause members. Members will not reserve the right to seek remuneration or compensation for themselves, or be able to make a complaint against BAHIA PRINCIPE HOTELS & RESORTS or any other enterprise in its group.

Change of the Membership account holder, in order to register a new Member, is not permitted. Instead the new Member must register him/herself as a new Member.

The Member declares that all data provided is correct and authentic, is encouraged to keep this information up-to-date, in accordance with their prevailing situation. BAHIA PRINCIPE HOTELS & RESORTS must be kept informed of any change of name, email… by the Member, in order to assure efficient service; if this is not the case, the company will not take responsibility.

In the case that the Member passes away, his/her benefits accumulated in the program will not be inherited.

9. INTERNET PRIVACY STATEMENT

The objective of the My Bahia Principe programme is to reward your loyalty and help us learn more about you to be able to provide services in conditions that are beneficial and adapted to your preferences. For this reason, joining the programme involves the processing of your personal data to create customer profiles and send you commercial emails in accordance with the privacy policy of the My Bahia Principe programme, which can be viewed here.

10. Free transfer service for Silver level and above*

Starting November 15, 2017, this exclusive service is available for My Bahia Principe customers.

Silver, Gold, and Black level members can take advantage of this free transfer service with hotel-only bookings reserved on www.bahía-príncipe.com or through our Contact Center. Flight information must be provided up to five days before arrival.

For Black level customers, the transfer service will be private.

The free transfer service does not apply to reservations make with third parties, reservations with special rates (groups, crew, employees, press, interline, guests), or travel agent bookings.

Customers must manage the transfer service by providing their flight information in the Personal Area of My Bahia Principe.

This must be done at least five days before arrival at the hotel.  Claims will not be admitted if this information is not correctly completed, or not completed on time.
