La Playa
The beach
Nuestra playa es una de las más importantes del Estado para la anidación de la Tortuga Blanca y la Tortuga Caguama. Desde Bahia Principe estamos centrados en nuestro Plan de Restauración Costera de México, un proyecto para la recuperación del hábitat de las tortugas marinas y mejora de la playa, por eso verás que hemos delimitado el área de la duna para evitar modificar este entorno y conservar la vegetación; elemental recurso en este ecosistema.
Our beach is one of the most important in the state for the nesting of the Loggerhead and White Turtles. From Bahia Principe we are focused on a project for the recovery of the sea turtle habitat, so you will see that we have delimited the area of the dune to avoid modifying this environment.
Por favor, camina por las áreas habilitadas para ello, evita entrar y pisar la vegetación de la duna y, retira todos los residuos que generes en la playa; aseguremos que no llegue al mar.
Please walk in the designated areas, avoid entering and trampling the vegetation on the dune and remove all the waste you generate on the beach.

Desde Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts llevamos más de 20 años trabajando para hacer compatible la actividad turística con la conservación de los valores naturales que existen en la zona. A través de la Fundación Ecológica Bahia Principe, desarrollamos numerosos proyectos encaminados a la conservación de las tortugas y su hábitat, el fomento de la vegetación nativa en el entorno de los hoteles y la educación ambiental de los colaboradores, clientes y escolares del municipio de Tulum y Akumal.
At Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts we have been working for more than 20 years to make tourism compatible with the conservation of the natural values that exist in the area. Through the Bahia Principe Ecological Foundation, we develop numerous projects aimed at the conservation of turtles and their habitat, the promotion of native vegetation around the hotels and environmental education for employees, customers and school children in the municipality of Tulum.
