This beach is very close to Playa de Los Cristianos. They are separated by a mere 150 metres and you can easily walk from one to the other along the seafront promenade. Playa Las Vistas is one of the 12 beaches in Tenerife that has been adapted for wheelchair access so it has been defined as an “Accessible Beach” by the Island Council of Tenerife, with reserved parking spaces, showers, access ramps and access paths.
Playa de las Américas is a popular family spot in southern Tenerife. This beach is often frequented by the local people because they can enjoy the beach, its facilities and the nearby entertainment and leisure options all year round. It also has disabled access, a lifeguard service and a children’s play area. It should be noted that the atmosphere here changes completely from day to night. Whereas it is more family-orientated during the day, it turns into a hotbed of fun and entertainment at night.
