“Semana Santa” is one of the most deep-seated celebrations taking place in Christian countries to commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus; commemoration with centuries of history and tradition that is celebrated in most Christian towns and cities.

The streets become the stage for religious fervor and devotion, in which mixed grief and meditation in memory of Christ’s death, with music, art, magic and colorful processions, solemn parades in which crowds people accompany religious images.


These exceptional images of religious art, take to the streets to be covered by thousands of people, who admires with devotion and respect.

“Semana Santa” is a time of intense liturgical activity within the various Christian denominations. Starts on the “Domingo de Ramos” and ends on the “Domingo de Resurección”.
