The most famous of the island’s caves are the Caves of the Drach, in Portocristo. The Caves of Artà, in the municipality of Capdepera, are also spectacular and the Caves of Campanet, which are located in the town of the same name.

The caves of the Drach
They are the most famous of Mallorca’s subterranean formations. Located on the eastern coast of the island, in the town of Portocristo, the caves of the Drach offer a route of formations and sounds not to be equalled. With a length of 2.4 kilometers, the caves reach depths of 25 meters.
Inside they hide an almost magical vision: an underground lake, the so-called Lake Martel, where a classical music concert is held on each visit. This concert, along with a magical light show projected over the water, offers a unique experience. And visitors who wish can enjoy a short boat trip on the lake at the end of the tour.
The caves of Artà
Located in the Capdepera municipality, in Cap Vermell, the caves are framed in a mountainous landscape that stretches over the sea and holds some of the most spectacular coastal underground formations in Mallorca.
Its visit is essential for fans of caving because, due to its age, its formations are especially significant: numbers, volumes, location; everything seems designed with perfect harmony.
The most striking of the caves of Artà is its majestic vault, from which hang sinuous and impressive stalactites and stalagmites, with its route of undulating galleries and grottos through which the visitor can walk and admire this natural phenomenon.
The caves of Campanet
Submerged in the depths of the Sant Miquel valley, the caves of Campanet open the doors to the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana. Its special location is in keeping with the beauty of its interiors, divided into various spaces and galleries.
The caves of Campanet have 3,200 square meters of surface under ground and offer the visitor a route of about 400 meters, which takes about 40 minutes. They reach a maximum of 50 meters in their descent and inside their galleries they hide lakes and large rooms, perfect to awaken the imagination.
