The secret zone of the Dominican Republic: Bridges of Samana
This post is also available in: Español (Spanish)
If you are looking for a destination which will surprise you with its spectacular beauty and tranquillity, we recommend visiting Samaná. The Samaná peninsula is in the north-east of the Dominican Republic. Lovely, open, fun, delightful… this province boasts amazing beaches which will take your breath away. And they are all very close to our hotels in the Dominican Republic.
Samaná walking bridges
As you cross the bridge you’ll see the boats moored in the bay, local people fishing, beautiful nature all around, and spectacular views of the breakwater and the entire bay. It’s a unique place which you shouldn’t miss if you visit the Samaná peninsula.
The Samaná bridges are a symbol of the province.

All-inclusive in the caribbean
Enjoy an adventure or relax in comfort at any of our hotels in Samaná: Grand Bahia Principe El Portillo, Grand Bahia Principe Cayacoa, Luxury Bahia Principe Samana, and Luxury Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado, where you’ll find truly all-inclusive luxury, idyllic beaches, relaxation and lots of fun.

Happy day,

Spend a lot of time in Samana, and its exactly (maybe even better) than described. To me however, Samana is a bee hive of activity due to being a cruise ship destination. 35 minutes away however, is Las Galeras. Check it out before the bee hive gets there.
