Contoy Island - Island of Women

We’ll spend our day on the water where the turquoise Caribbean Sea meets the crystal waters of the Gulf of Mexico. We’ll arrive to our first destination, Contoy Island, on speed boats just 23 nautical miles north of Cancún.
Here we’ll dive in to snorkel and explore the Ixlaché Reef, marking the beginning of the second longest barrier reef the world and home to over 234 species of fish such as the spiny lobster, the scribe fish, fish needle, bull fish, barracuda, and so many more.
We’ll pass by a natural refuge for many seabirds now known as Bird Island getting a beautiful panoramic view on our way to lunch.
After the tour, we’ll have lunch at the beach and some free time to relax or swim, We’ll continue on to the Island of Women where we’ll have one hour to discover the main shopping areas of the port.
