Golf

There are four golf courses to choose from near the hotel Gran Bahía Príncipe Punta Cana:

  • Club de Golf de Palma Real - Cocotal: designed by Pepe Gancedo, a Spaniard who was six times European champion. Today there is no doubt this is considered to be the best golf course at Punta Cana- Bávaro. (15 minutes away from the resort)
  • Club de Golf Punta Cana: incredible golf course designed by the talented P.B. Dye, famous for his worldwide recognition. 14 holes with fantastic views of the Caribbean - and four holes alongside the ocean. Each hole was created to test a unique talent: sometimes infuriating but always memorable. (35 minutes away from the resort)
  • Club de Golf Casa de Campo: also designed by Pete Dye. (90 minutes away from the resort)
  • Whitesands: 9 hole course (15 minutes away from the resort)
Further, there open a new course (Punta Blanca) right next to the resort in September 2006. Guests will get a green fee reduction for this course.
