One of the world's finest golf courses...

The Río San Juan area not only has unquestionably beautiful beaches and the incomparable human warmth of the local people, but also, to the delight of golfers of all standards, a stunning and recently opened 18-hole golf course, which was designed by Robert Trent Jones and covers an area of over 150 hectares (370 acres). This course is considered one of the best in all Latin America, the Caribbean and, possibly, now among the best in the world.

This is due to the peculiar fact that 10 of its 18 holes are located directly at sea over the reef, which, apart from making it incredibly beautiful, tests golfers' shot-making talent.
