Bahía Príncipe

We start out by heading for the Island's capital along the northern highway. Once in the heart of Santa Cruz we'll have free time for shopping or visiting the centre of historical interest. We will continue to Taganana and see the wonderful rocky Anaga massif. We'll stop at Almaciga Beach to have a swim, eat something or take a walk. Then we'll go down along the Monte de las Mercedes, stopping at the English peak, and return to Puerto de la Cruz on the northern highway. We'll stop for lunch before returning to the hotel.

Pick-up by coach in Puerto de la Cruz/Playa de las Americas - Costa Adeje and head towards the Puerto de los Cristianos. We'll embark on a modern ferry that will take us to the Port of San Sebastian de la Gomera (capital of this Colombina island, where Christopher Columbus stopped on his way to the New World). This island is one of the lesser known, for its rugged terrain. The villages, scattered throughout the Valleys (Hermigua, Agulo, Vallehermoso, etc.), keep the Canary Islands flavour and quaintness alive. they extend seaward from Garajonay (National Park), declared a World Heritage Site. Arriving in Epina we'll have lunch and later we'll pass through La Laguna Grande, Los Roques and reach the pier where the ferry awaits to take us back to Tenerife. Lunch included.

Special festival where we'll enjoy an unforgettable evening, accompanied by a folklore group, a Canary Islands wrestling exhibition and our famous Carnival Chicharrero groups. The guide team will invite you to participate in the different games and will enable us have a fun-filled night. As a final touch to the festival, we'll be able to appreciate the flashy costumes of carnival queen candidates of the last four years. Includes transport and traditional Canary Islands dinner (wrinkled potatoes, mojo, grilled meat, etc.) and surprise gifts! Informal dress.

We begin this comprehensive city tour by visiting the Marian town of
Candelaria where the patron saint of the Canary Islands is located in its basilica. From there we continue along the southern coast of the island, passing through the resort of Playa de las Americas to reach the Acantilado de los Gigantes (Cliffs of the Giants), go up to el Tanque to get a bird's eye view of the town of Garachico with the possibility of taking a camel ride. Our route takes us to Icod de los Vinos to see the majesty of the Drago Milenario (Millennium Dragon), symbol of our island. An outing you'll always remember!

In this outing you'll get to know El Teide National Park from a totally different perspective. Enjoying one of its magical sunsets, beautiful and impressive, from a height of 2,350 m. above sea level, surrounded by a lunar landscape, and part of the Canary Islands archipelago as a backdrop. Visit the Roques de Garcia and descend towards the southern side of the island to the village of Vilaflor, one of the highest in Spain, where the springs of Tenerife are located; next we'll arrive at San Miguel Castle, where we'll enjoy a medieval dinner and show. Dinner included.
