Surroundings and nature

The resort is surrounded by tropical vegetation and native fauna. The resort forms part of the Eco-Bahía Foundation, for environmental preservation and the accompaniment of native turtles in the laying and hatching of eggs on the beaches near the resort.

  • More than 50 species of native plants and trees surround the hotel: red mangrove, Caribbean palm, white siriote, mauo flower, sea grape, and sea almond.
  
  • Enjoy the native fauna: Mexican iguana, guaco hawk and ruby-throated hummingbird.
  
  • You can join in with the Eco-Bahía foundation, with the nesting of sea turtles or the release of hatchlings after the eggs hatch between April and September.
