Surroundings and nature

The hotel is surrounded by vegetation and nature, you can see hundred-year-old trees, tropical vegetation, royal palms, coconut trees, Peruvian flowers, among many others. You'll get to know the traditional ecosystem of the Dominican Republic with the island's specifics.
Watch pelicans plunging into the sea for fish, or the cute hermit crabs or the beautiful humpbacked whales, which you can see from the beach between November and March.

• Commitment to the environment

  As part of the Eco-Bahía Ecological Foundation of the Dominican Republic, we conduct a series of tasks to reinforce our commitment to the environment: including energy savings control programs, a special interest in optimizing and controlling water use, separation of organic and inorganic waste, recycling of oils and fats, wastewater treatment plant, water desalination and treatment plant, environmental awareness day for the Hotel's staff.
