About Bahía Príncipe Clubs & Resorts
It is the youngest division of Grupo Piñero, one of the leading groups in the Spanish tourism sector (tour operators, hotel chains, transport companies,.....), with a presence in Spain, Portugal, Russia, Miami, Argentina, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica. Bahía Príncipe, was founded in 1995 with the opening of the Bahía Príncipe San Juan (Puerto Plata - Dominican Republic), with 940 rooms. It currently has a total of eighteen (18) 4 and 5 star hotels in the most attractive destinations in the Caribbean (the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Jamaica) and Spain (Tenerife).
Currently, the chain continues to expand with the aim of increasing the number of its establishments and thereby exceeding the 20,000 hotel rooms that it already boasts. The Bahía Príncipe brand classifies all five-star establishments with the name Gran Bahía Príncipe and four-star establishments with the name Bahía Príncipe. It also recently created a brand bringing together all the highest quality Gran Bahía Príncipe establishments, which are classified with the distinction of Don Pablo Collection.
